Shake your life, Get motivated.


Motivation is the biggest devil in life, finding it and keeping it is like finding gold at the end of a rainbow. It's hard and requires a good mindset and stubbornness.

It's personally taken me a long time to find it as I lost all mine after education. Education gave me a reason to wake up every morning and leave the house, right? So does normal things like work, friends, shopping? But what about motivation to complete the little things that you don't really WANT to do but HAVE to? Like, cleaning your room, cleaning your house, doing the washing up, feeding your pets, writing that essay that just isn't due in just yet, helping your friend achieve her goal in calorie counting, going to the gym, ALL the little things.

It's a struggle right, and every day you put it off to complete the bigger tasks? It's a normal thing for all of us and requires such a stubbornness that not all of us are willing to leap for, but in some way we can all achieve it!

When a task is needing to be done ask yourself a few things;

Will I do it later if I don't do it now? If yes, and you mean yes, treat yourself! Chill out, complete the bigger task and take time for you. If no, DO IT NOW! Or it will get to big of a task and you'll hate yourself even more for not doing it when it was easy.

Will it play on my mind that it needs to be done? If yes do it as soon as possible, you do not need things playing on your mind and nibbling in your head, you need to focus and this wont help! If no, then take a break and do it when you feel ready (not three days later, but today, do it today when you are ready!)

Will I regret not doing it in the morning? If the answer is yes, do it before dinner, do it before you sleep, just do it before it gets worse. If no, save it for tomorrow when your mind is clearer, start the day with it if you can, you'll feel more productive and happier and clearer in your mind!

Will it get worse and lead into a bigger task that I REALLY don't want to do? If the answer is yes, I think it speaks for itself... IT NEEDS TO BE DONE SO JUST DO IT. Believe in yourself, believe you can do it, because you can. If no, it's probably the most meaningless task, so just get it over with, then you'll be free of the worry.
